Neesha R. Schnepf, PhD
Research scientist at the Laboratory for Atmospheric & Space Physics.
I am a research scientist at the University of Colorado Boulder's Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics. Most of my research questions are centered on geomagnetic fields: is a planetary geomagnetic field (i.e. an intrinsic magnetosphere) necessary for a planet to be habitable? How can electromagnetic fields be used to study oceans both on Earth and beyond? Can electromagnetic fields be used to better prepare people from natural hazards like tsunamis?
